Gerard Pique has broken his silence regarding his ex-girlfriend Shakira’s diss track about him. He reportedly commented on the mental health implications of such behavior.

The footballer has finally broken his silence on the viral track. He shared his reflections regarding the mental health implications that contemporary internet culture enables and perpetuates.

On Twitch, while speaking to Gerard Romero, Pique shared his honest opinions on the ongoing saga between him and Shakira. Gerard didn’t directly refer to either Shakira or the song by name, but it was evident that he was speaking about his situation. Pique reflects on how it has become “fashionable” to diss people. He reportedly said,
