Popular pop star and singer Shakira was a Real Madrid fan in her early days. This picture appeared from the time when she visited Santiago Bernabeu, interacted with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and met other Real Madrid stars.
Shakira was seen interacting and clicking pictures with Real Madrid icons like Zidane, Ronaldo, Iker Casillas and others. It is believed that she was a real Madrid fan and she visibly looked thrilled meeting them and getting autographs from the stars.
The club also presented the popular pop icon with a jersey with her name on it with the number five. This was clearly the time when she hadn’t started dating Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.

Back when Shakira supported Real Madrid:
Shakira and Pique have announced their separation recently and it has led to their fans being heartbroken worldwide.
The couple first met during the FIFA 2010 World Cup. The Spanish defender caught Shakira‘s eye while they were shooting for the Waka Waka song.
After Spain won the FIFA World Cup in 2010, the duo confirmed their relationship status in 2011. They have two children together Milan and Sasha. The power couple were together for 11 years after they announced the separation on June 4, 2022.
The El Clasico is one of the fiercest rivalries to exist. After Pique started dating Shakira, the Madridistas didn’t take it very well. Her songs were even banned in the Santiago Bernabeu.
This was quite a dramatic turn of events considering Shakira a Real Madrid fan at a point of her life and being felicitated at the Bernabeu.
