Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane and his family recently moved to a new £30m mansion in Munich, after spending five months at a luxury hotel in the city. Interestingly, Kane’s new house served as a filming location for the 2014 German movie ‘Vaterfreuden’.

The former Tottenham Hotspur forward completed a move to Bayern in the summer for a record-breaking €100 million, marking the most expensive transfer in Bundesliga history. Kane has since then been in superb form, scoring 26 goals in 23 appearances for the Bavarian giants. In his first few months in the city of Munich, he stayed at the Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski, a luxury hotel spending a whopping sum of £1 million. He then relocated to a £30 million mansion situated in an upscale area, referred to as the ‘Beverly Hills of Bavaria.’

Kane will be joined by his wife Kate and four children at the sprawling mansion, overlooking the river Isar. The house is said to be situated on the outskirts of a forested area, offering breathtaking views of the river. Additionally, it includes a sun deck and spa. The massive home, which was once occupied by former Bayern player, Lucas Hernandez, was used as a set for the 2014 German comedy ‘Vaterfreuden‘. Many of the scenes in the movie, based on a man accidentally getting a vasectomy, were filmed at the mansion.

In a recent post following his departure from the luxury hotel, Kane thanked the hotel staff for their wonderful reception. Munich marks Kane’s first international experience, concluding a 14-year playing career in England.
