Manchester United’s interim manager Ralf Rangnick will be seen in a different job role for the Red Devils next season after Eric ten Hag is set to join the club as the new head coach.
However, in a recent interview, Rangnick revealed that recruiting new players that would benefit the team is his topmost priority for the upcoming season. Rangnick added that finding “future top” players like Erling Haaland should be considered by the team. Haaland is 21 or 22 years old and he should be the player to jump for.
“For me, the most important bit is recruitment now. Haaland is a young player. He’s 21 or 22. This is one of those players I spoke about. But, on the other hand, he has developed in the last two years into one of probably the most expensive strikers in the world,” said Rangnick.
Ralf Rangnick was recently appointed as the head coach of the Austria National Team but will continue as a consultant for Manchester United next season.

Manchester United will next host Brentford in the next game which could see the return of Fred, Maguire, and Cavani. However, Jadon Sancho is out with tonsil problems.
Interestingly, this could be the farewell match for many players including Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, etc., and the last for Ralf Rangnick as the head coach at Old Trafford.
Manchester United is well outside the race of finishing inside the top-four this season, having won just two out of their last 11 league matches. After already suffering a total of ten defeats in the Premier League so far, the Red Devils are set to record their lowest ever points on the league’s points table this season.
