Jason Sudeikis, the co-creator, executive producer, and star of the hit Apple+ series, recently spoke about the show in an interview with CNN. He revealed that he is always thinking about the show, its plot, and its characters.
“This is literally what I do every day,” Sudeikis says. “I was there on set every day going behind-the-scenes with notes, supporting our directors and DP’s. When I go and watch editing now, it’s a thrill. That’s a credit to the work that the writers did, but then also the way these actors portray them.” Sudeikis claims that he arrives on-site “excited to see” what the series’ creative team will come up with.
According to Sudeikis, the third and final season of Ted Lasso, which debuts on March 15, will go even more into the characters’ backgrounds, drawing influence from various sources. He says he enjoys encouraging actors to use their real-life abilities and talents. Many ideas have arrived in ways that he “couldn’t articulate,” Sudeikis says.
“It feels indulgent to say that, but I say it humbly,” he says. “It’s what athletes call ‘The Zone,’ it’s a real thing. And sometimes we only feel it in the 20 seconds when we first get in the shower.” After that, he says, “we remember all there is to worry about” in life. Sudeikis says the show concluding this season is bittersweet. He’s aware of a desire among viewers of the comedy for more.
Sudeikis also mentions that there is a chance Ted Lasso will continue beyond three seasons. “If that which seemed impossible became possible, then maybe even the impossible can become possible,” he said.

Ted Lasso Season 3: Release date, Cast, Where and How to watch
The third season of Ted Lasso will debut on March 15, according to a recent announcement made by Apple TV+. Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt, and Joe Kelly are the creators of the American sports comedy-drama television show.
The show will debut on a Wednesday and will be “the first Apple TV+ series to launch midweek,” according to the press release. The third season of Ted Lasso will feature 12 episodes, according to the press release from Apple TV Plus. These episodes will follow the antics of the newly promoted AFC Richmond team.
Ted Lasso follows a football coach from the United States who is hired despite having no prior coaching expertise. But Ted’s optimism more than makes up for his lack of coaching knowledge and experience. Season 3 will show AFC Richmond’s success as they compete in the English top flight.
