Popstar Shakira has reportedly already earnt a whopping $22 million from the songs she wrote about ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique. The star couple infamously split in June 2022 after 11 years of being together. The couple has two sons together.
Even though neither of the two officially gave a reason for the breakup, speculations have emerged as the main reason was infidelity. Gerard Pique was spotted multiple times with his current girlfriend Clara Chia Marti even when he was dating Shakira. Since the breakup, Shakira has released three new songs throwing shade at former beau Pique.
Songs such as Te Felecito and Monotonia have become chartbusters as they throw specific shade at Pique calling him out on his actions. in her songs, Shakira has called Pique out by singing the following lyrics: “I congratulate you, that you act well”, “It wasn’t your fault nor mine, it was the monotony’s fault”, “A wolf like me is not for guys like you!”

Gerard Pique launched a new, exciting 7-a-side league with footballer and streamer Ibai Llanos in the wake of his breakup with pop star Shakira. The league was inaugurated on January 1 2023.
The new format brings in exciting new and bizarre rules with the younger generation as its target audience as it has already become a sensation on the social media app TikTok. Apart from this, Pique has also brought in multiple retired superstars of world football such as Sergio Aguero, Iker Casillas, Chicharito Hernandez and most recently, Ronaldinho.
