Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was the one who convinced Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at the club during the start of the season and has yet again spoken out about his interest in the attacker. He said in a recent interview that he wants and expects Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at the club until the end of the season.
The Portuguese stormed off the pitch during the match against Tottenham Hotspur has not given a start and was ignored by Ten Hag which has led to a lot of problems for the attacker. He has been dropped from the squad for Saturday’s Premier League game against Chelsea as a punishment for refusing to come on as a substitute late on in the match against Spurs.

Ronaldo took to Instagram to explain the situation saying, “Sometimes the heat of the moment gets the best of us”. Ten Hag also said, “We are a team, and in a team, we have standards and values. That was for everyone, and I said that there will be consequences if it happened a second time.”
