An Argentine model named Xoana Gonzalez, in 2016 came out with an explosive claim that she had slept with Lionel Messi. The 35-year-old model, in an interview with a Peruvian show, The Value of Truth ,said that she had slept with Lionel Messi once, back in 2011. And rated her experience to be not good at all.
Often termed the best player on the planet, Lionel Messi has maintained his good-boy image pretty well. Unlike many of his fellow football colleagues, Messi has a comparatively low profile when it comes to adjoining his name with any scandals, especially the ones involving women. Naturally, this news came to the world as a thunderbolt.
In 2016, Argentine model Xoana Gonzalez opened up about an alleged incident where she slept with the Argentine legend Lionel Messi back in 2011. Xoana did noot hold back from slamming her compatriot for his performance in the bed. While speaking on Peruvian TV back in 2016, Xoana said: “It was many years ago. In truth, he was very young. But he knew what he was doing, was not minor, that was the important thing.” Gonzalez added that Messi’s security came to her and told her that he got someone she would want to know. She said she was quite curious as to who it was and froze when she saw it was her idol, Lionel Messi.
Xoana, while referring to that incident added, “I said that he is the wimp, though, because he sent his security to get me. There I noticed that he is very shy.” According to the reports, Gonzalez stated that at first, they talked about music before they went to Messi’s apartment in Puerto Madero. Although she said she couldn’t remember if Messi mentioned having a girlfriend back then.
According to the model, Messi wasn’t good in bed at all. Gonzalez said, “When one plays across the whole pitch you expect someone to return the favor. I wanted him to show me more than that”. The Argentinian model then reportedly concluded by saying that there was a point where she felt like she was with a dead body.
Now, 35 and a father of three, Lionel Messi is married to his childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo. About the scandal, the claims were never followed up later and it remained as a cheap stunt made by the model to get into the limelight.
