Paul Pogba has denied using a witch doctor to cast a spell on the PSG forward, but Kylian Mbappe has distanced himself from the claim. Pogba has also denied using a witch doctor to cast a spell on Mbappe. The 23-year-old has said he “prefers to believe the word of his teammate”, and that he is “pretty detached” from the situation.
Regarding claims that the Juventus midfielder utilized a witch doctor to cast a spell over his France colleague, Kylian Mbappe has taken Paul Pogba’s side. Pogba said he was “quite distant” from the scenario and refuted the witch doctor claims, which Mbappe acknowledged he had decided to accept.
“Today I prefer to believe the word of my teammate,” Mbappe said.
“It is his word against the word of his brother, I am going to believe my teammate.
“It’s not a time to put more onto him. I’m pretty detached from it all.”

Kylian Mbappe is confident in Paul Pogba
In the past week, the PSG forward is said to have spoken with Pogba and his brother Mathias Pogba to inquire as to why he has been involved in a scandal that is still going on. It is believed that he contacted both brothers to better grasp the circumstances.
The dispute started when Mathias posted a video online claiming to have “big disclosures” about his brother, while Pogba claimed to have received threats from an organized gang. The tapes “are unfortunately no surprise,” according to a statement signed by Paul Pogba’s attorneys, his mother Yeo Moriba, and current agent Rafaela Pimenta, and they come on top of prior “threats and extortion efforts.”
Pogba allegedly threatened to tell investigators that he had hired a witch doctor to put a spell on Mbappe, a prominent player for Paris Saint-Germain and a fellow French national team member, but Pogba denies doing so. Following his outburst, Mathias reportedly told French officials that he was being held hostage by a gang using assault guns as part of an attempted extortion operation.
