“I trust Ten Hag to kick Ronaldo out of the club; A shame”- Fans attack Cristiano Ronaldo over recent Piers Morgan interview condemning Erik ten Hag

Cristiano Ronaldo
After Cristiano Ronaldo criticized the present Manchester United manager, saying he has “no respect” for the Dutchman, fans came to Erik ten Hag’s defense.
Ronaldo’s remarks have dominated news coverage on a day that United should have been celebrating. 18-year-old Alejandro Garnacho’s 93rd-minute goal against Fulham gave the united a win in their last match before the FIFA World Cup. Garnacho’s well deserved time in the spotlight was cut short soon after the veterans interview came out.
Naturally, this is not the first time the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has made headlines by himself following a fantastic day for his team. Ronaldo rushed down the tunnel during the 2-0 victory against Tottenham in October after he resisted being substituted.
The 37-year-old was benched by Ten Hag for the match against Chelsea after which he was reinstated and given back-to-back league starts against West Ham and Aston Villa.
A Piers Morgan shows In an uncensored interview that will run later this week, Ronaldo leveled outrageous claims that could damage his reputation at the Old Trafford club. However, after a recording from the interview was made public late on Sunday night, United fans came together to defend their team, emphasizing on social media that the club is always bigger than the player, regardless of who that player may be.
