“I will tell them about the empire he built,” Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister shares a wholesome message in support of her brother after Portugal’s 2022 FIFA World Cup exit

Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister, Katia Aveiro, has taken to social media to support and encourage her brother after Portugal’s World Cup exit at the hands of Morocco. Aveiro posted a heartfelt message of support for her brother via her Instagram, showing her pride in the team’s performance throughout the tournament.
“When my grandchildren ask me to talk about struggle, honour, glory, work, dedication, obstacles, human evil in exchange for envy, when they ask me to talk about trophies, goals, prizes, records of an unprecedented legacy, I’m going to talk about my brother,” she wrote on Instagram.
In her note, she stated Cristiano Ronaldo’s hardships coming from a modest background to conquering the world of football. She wrote about the difficulties they faced growing up, like collecting rainwater with buckets, cooking food with wood, and all of the siblings sleeping together in one room.

She continued by saying, “I will tell them about the empire he built, I will tell them his strength, what he promised and he kept. I will tell you about his character, I will tell you that he never gave up even when they had already buried him. I will show the movie, the real life movie of their uncle,”.
“And thank god I am part of it. Part of his life. And what a beautiful life it is. So proud. He is the my brother. Yes the Cristiano Ronaldo. Pride is the word. Thank you bro,” She added.
The post has received an overwhelming response from Ronaldo’s fans, with many praising Aveiro’s words of encouragement and sending positive and heartfelt message for the Portuguese in this hard time.
For the second straight game, Ronaldo was starting the quarterfinal match for Portugal from the bench. The veteran player had started each of his nation’s three group games but was benched for the playoff matches against Switzerland and Morocco by the coach.
After his nation had fallen behind after Youssef En-goal Nesyri’s at the end of the first period, Ronaldo eventually came off the bench six minutes into the second half. Although he had trouble getting into the game, Ronaldo had a chance to tie the score in stoppage time as he sprinted through on goal. Bono, the goalie for Morocco, stopped him. And the former Manchester United player now appears destined to call it quits without winning the most prestigious international prize available.
