“You have to give them time, the opportunity, and let them grow in a normal way without pressure”- Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has said that he will use his experience and help the youngsters in any way possible, they only have to come to him for advice. He himself rose to fame under Sir Alex Ferguson in his first spell here, wherein he was guided by the veteran stars at the club at the time.
“I’m in favor that we should give opportunities to the young generation because they will be the future,’” Ronaldo said in an interview on the club’s website. “You have to give them time, the opportunity, and let them grow in a normal way without pressure.”
“They need to understand, to achieve success you have to sacrifice, work hard, have work ethic, dedication. But of course if the kids ask me for advice I will give my opinion and advice because I want to help.“
Cristiano Ronaldo is known for the winning mentality that he carries around at all times while demanding his teammates to do the same. He advocated the need for the upcoming youngsters to listen to their seniors and better themselves based on their experience.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Ronaldo also conveyed that the new generation cannot handle genuine criticism and cautioned them to change their way of thinking. He added that if they carry on with that mindset, then they have to “do their job” and assist the team through self-reflection.
“I remember when I was 18 some older players spoke with me and I took that as having to improve, they know more than me as they have more bad moments. This new generation in general don’t accept that if you criticize them. I’m here to help. When they need my support and advice, I will be the number one to help. If you don’t want my help and my advice, do your job, look at yourself. Do your best to help the team.”
Well it looks like Ronaldo is trying to go out of his way to help the youngsters. The advice which you could get from one of the GOATS of football personally is just invaluable to say the least. The youngsters must take this opportunity to get some advice and thoughts from Ronaldo because it is not everyday that you have the opportunity to do so.
