“If you tell me I don’t have money, I don’t spend anything anymore”- Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp confused by Barcelona’s huge signings despite being in financial crisis

Barcelona has established itself as one of the busiest clubs in the summer transfer market, bringing in a number of elite players from all around Europe.
The Catalans made many high-profile signings, including Jules Kounde and Raphinha, before settling on Robert Lewandowski. Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen were also able to join the team on free transfers, raising the overall calibre of the club going into the 2022–23 season.
However, the Barcelona management has come into question for the market policies and ultimate executive decisions approved by the directors throughout the summer after investing more than €150 million at a time of financial crisis.
Others have found Barcelona’s transfer activities confusing

Others have been perplexed by the club’s transfer activity, particularly given that it is currently through one of its greatest financial difficulties ever. The most recent authority to address Barcelona’s summer splurge was Jurgen Klopp. The Liverpool manager claims that despite the club’s numerous financial problems, its spending power has entirely misled him.
The German strategist also made a subtle jab at Barcelona, saying he would not have been as rash in the market if the board had let him know about the club’s financial situation.
“Barca’s spending? I don’t understand it. If you tell me I don’t have money, I don’t spend anything anymore. This happened to me twice in the past with my credit card,” remarked Klopp, whose Liverpool team had made only one significant acquisition, Darwin Nunez, in the market.
Calvin Ramsay and Fabio Carvalho were also acquired by the Reds, but their primary role is expected to be that of backups. The Reds do have several midfield talents on the rise, such as Harvey Elliot and Curtis Jones, but they lack experience in decisive encounter.
