New Bayern Munich signing, Sadio Mane has been doing some incredible work back in his hometown in Senegal as the 30 year old financed the building of a new fuel station at Bambali, his village.
Sadio Mane has been involved in a number of developments in his village ever since the player become a prominent name in Europe. He also helped his country to their first Africa Cup of Nations victory earlier this year defeating team-mate Mohammed Salah’s Egypt in the finals.

The former Liverpool player has always maintained a strong and emotional relationship with his village back at Senegal. He had also donated huge sums of money previously to build hospitals and schools in his village.
He has also been known to give all the families €70 monthly along with providing them with 4G connectivity. His latest improvements includes building a new fuel station and post office in the village of 2000 residents.
Speaking about his village to the Guardian, Mane has said earlier, “I remember my sister was also born at home because there is no hospital in our village. It was a really, really sad situation for everyone. I wanted to build one to give people hope.”
Sadio Mane recently completed a £35 million move from Liverpool to German giants, Bayern Munich. Apart from being a true humanitarian, Mane is also an exceptional footballer. In 269 appearances for Liverpool, the Senegalese scored 120 goals and provided 48 assists.
He also won all possible trophies there are to win at Club level including the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup. The 30 year old will now start a new chapter in Germany with Bayern Munich.
