Lionel Messi is one of the greatest footballers to have ever played. He has been a heartthrob for many women. But the Argentine has been a one-woman-man his entire life as he is married to his childhood sweetheart Antonella Rocuzzo and has never made the headlines for infidelity.
Although that wasn’t the case or at least that wasn’t what the 23 women thought when they slept with Messi’s look-alike who pretended to be the soccer star to sleep with them. In a world where superstar doppelgangers make the most of their lucky coincidence by making public appearances, one Iranian man took the opportunity to fool the cupid and make it rain arrows of love at him.
An Iranian guy named Reza Parastesh, who looks quite like the Argentine maestro, reportedly slept with 23 women after he pretended to be Messi. It all started two years back when his father asked him to wear a Barcelona shirt and pose for a picture.
The picture went viral very quickly and Parastesh earned the nickname “fake Messi”. After noticing the uncanny resemblance between him and Messi, Parastesh even cut his hair and beard in the exact same style as Messi does to increase the similarity between the two even more.
