Mumbai City FC has lost quite a few key foreign players as compared to the last season. However, they have made sure that they have a really incredible foreign lot this year as well. Here is the list of all the foreign players that will be representing Mumbai City FC in the 2021/22 season.
1. Ahmed Jahouh
Mumbai City FC signed central defensive midfielder, Jahouh, from Goa FC last season. He had a brilliant season as he maintained a passing accuracy of 75.5% and gave a total of five assists in his 20 appearances for the club.
Jahouh held the defense of Mumbai City FC pretty well too. He made 173 tackles last season, 33 interceptions, 43 clearances, and 27 blocks. However, he was also sent off twice last season.
2. Mourtada Fall
Having previously played for Moghreb Tetouan, Al Arabi SC and Wydad AC, Fall, proved to be a great defender for Mumbai City FC last season. Just like Jahouh, he too has been signed from Goa FC earlier.
The Senegalese defender has already made 62 appearances in the Indian Super League so far. He made 50 tackles, 30 interceptions, 133 clearances and 34 blocks last season for the Islanders. Intriguingly, he will be leading the Mumbai City FC this year.

Last season, Inman scored a goal and gave two assists for Odisha FC. He usually plays as the left midfielder or central attacking mid fielder who loves to play offensively.
4. Igor Angulo
Another new arrival, Angulo, will be intriguing to watch this season. Last year, the 37-year-old scored 14 goals for FC Goa in a total of 21 appearances.
The terrific striker will have huge role of increasing the goal count for the Islanders. He is also the reigning Golden Boot holder of the league.
5. Ygor Catatau
26-year-old Brazilian, Catatau, is on loan at Mumbai City FC from Madureira-RJ till May 2022. Last year too, he was on loan to Esporte Clube Vitoria from Madureira-RJ only.
In the previous edition, Catatau scored 3 important goals and provided an assist for Esporte Clube Vitoria. A great striker, Mumbai City FC will also be relying on him to give them some early leads.
