Ivana Knoll, the ‘sexist fan of 2022 FIFA World Cup’ reveals she has received marriage proposals and messages for players in Qatar

Ivana Knoll during Croatia vs Morocco
According to MailOnline, Croatian model Ivana Knoll has received multiple marriage proposals and steamy texts from some of the World Cup players in Qatar. The 26-year-old model expressed her disbelief at some fans believing she was an “easy woman,” since she has been gaining an astounding 200,000 Instagram followers every day.
She claimed that some of the messages she received through her Instagram account were ‘meet’ requests from World Cup-bound footballers. But Ivana said: “I am only having fun with everybody. I suppose people like me because I am good looking. I am not interested in meeting with anybody here. My intention is to make people smile, that is all.“
“The fans I meet everywhere love me. But when I go to matches now, my friends won’t sit with me and move away to other seats because of the cameras,” she added. She claimed that she was worried about offending Qatari sentiments with her scanty clothing in the red and white colours of her national team and feared being banned from stadiums.
She did, however, arrive at the Lusail stadium for the match against Argentina last night, four hours prior to kickoff, to meet with attendees and pose for photos. She has more than 2.7 million Instagram followers, who have been increasing at a rate of almost 200,000 each day.
Croatia were eliminated by Argentina at the 2022 FIFA World Cup
Croatia advanced to the knockout stages after finishing second in Group F, behind surprise package Morocco but ahead of Belgium and Canada. They prevailed in two penalty shootouts to advance to the semifinals for the second straight World Cup.
The 2018 runners-up defeated Japan 3-1 in penalty shootout in the round of 16 before overcoming tournament favourites Brazil 4-2 on penalties at the end of Friday’s quarter-final. But this time, they were defeated by a Messi-inspired Argentina in the semifinals. Two goals from Julian Alvarez and a penalty by Lionel Messi denied Croatia from reaching the final for the second time in a row.
