Cristiano Ronaldo was gifted a watch by the founder of Jacob & Co., Jacob Arabo after he visited Riyadh last week. The watch is said to cost around $1.3 Million and the player was personally handed the watch by Arabo after which the pair shared a handshake and a hug.

This is not the first time the pair have met each other as Jacob Arabo revealed he met the Portuguese superstar when Cristiano Ronaldo was just 18 years old. When the Portuguese signed for Al-Nassr, the player was gifted a £630,000 one-of-a-kind Saudi-inspired Jacob & Co watch featuring 338 ultra-rare gemstones. Ronaldo repaid the company in kind as he supported Jacob & Co. when they opened their largest boutique in the world in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia back in May earlier this year.

Since signing for Al-Nassr in early 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo has made Saudi Arabia a hotspot. Widely regarded as the catalyst for the mass exodus which has seen many players the likes of Sadio Mane, Neymar and Karim Benzema join the Saudi Pro League. Knowing that the player will attract headlines, Cristiano is often invited to several events held across the country with Tyson Fury’s bout against Francis Ngannou being the most notable event. Now with rumours spreading of the player set to make an appearance in WWE Crown Jewel, the football star once again made headlines as many are excited to see Ronaldo in the WWE Ring.

For now, though, Cristiano considers football his ‘passion’ and will focus on Al-Nassr’s next game against Al-Khaleej on the 4th of November.

Earning a reported $200 million a year for two seasons, Cristiano Ronaldo’s life in the Middle East is one full of luxury. Aside from his life as a famous football star known throughout the world, the player has several brand deals with renowned companies alongside his company branded, ‘CR7’ which deals with clothing, hotels and even a museum dedicated to the player located in Funchal, Portugal.

His time in Saudi has also seen him pictured with celebrities from across the globe and different fields. The player was pictured with UFC Fighter, Conor McGregor and was seated next to Bollywood Megastar, Salman Khan just a few weeks ago. Alongside all this, the player is also set to be paired up with John Cena in WWE’s upcoming event in Saudi Arabia.

A life of luxury and out of the European media’s eyes, the 38-year-old remains ardent about his football career and is preparing for the UEFA EURO 2024.
