Manchester United’s new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and company INEOS, is reportedly willing to provide outcast Mason Greenwood, a second chance at the club. Currently on loan at Getafe, the Englishman has been performing well in La Liga.

The Red Devils’ decided to exclude Greenwood following an internal investigation after his arrest in January 2022. He was charged with s*xual assault, but those charges were dropped in February 2023. While United initially considered bringing him back, they faced significant opposition from fans. The 22-year old later relocated to Spain in the final few days of the transfer window last summer. He is now being targeted by clubs like Barcelona.

His stint in the Spanish League has caught some eyes, scoring five goals and assisting five more in 21 appearances. Despite reports indicating that he might move out of United next season, Sir Jim Ratcliffe hinted at the potential for Greenwood to return to the club based on his strong showing at Getafe. He further discussed their approach to decision-making, highlighting the need to evaluate both Greenwood’s abilities and character.
