The news was initially followed by an investigation that arose as a result of Juventus players and their head coach Maurizio Sarri agreeing to cut their salaries throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. After deciding to do so it has been reported that the Italian authorities found some irregularities and began to take a closer look into the matter. The mass resigning had happened two years later that event.

Some exclusive details about the club’s managing committee’s tenure and the issues faced during that time haven’t been revealed completely and might get into people’s sight once everything is calmer. The mass resignation has definitely shaken the club upside down, and new looks for changing the whole system have been looked upon. There’s no doubt, that the resigns are suspicious and point towards a much bigger reason than just salary troubles.

The sad part was people’s trust and Juventus’ recent performance that was continuously declining, having to play the Europa League and couldn’t help find a score in the Champions League, getting beaten by every other club. The club has lost its image of being at the top during the last 5-6 years, after their long-reigning streak of winning the league multiple times was broken.
