Karim Benzema intentionally not called up for 2022 FIFA World Cup final for France
Karim Benzema remains in Madrid, where he is already focusing hard with the remainder of his Real Madrid teammates. He will be supporting his country France from there as they play Argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Paul Pogba, N’Golo Kante, and Christopher Nkunku will travel despite missing out on Didier Deschamps’ squad for Qatar owing to injury, but Karim Benzema, Lucas Hernandez, and Presnel Kimpembe will not. Yesterday, Benzema left a mysterious text on his Instagram account. “I’m not interested in that,” indicating his reply to the questions about playing at the finals.
It is said that the France manager Deschamps’ call to exclude Karim Benzema from the 2022 FIFA World Cup was deliberate even after his recovery from injury. Deschamps is to be upset about Karim Benzema’s speech at the Ballon D’Or ceremony where he did not mention the French coach as reported by journalist Mohammed Saeed Alkaabi.
He also reports that Karim Benzema’s injury was exaggerated by the France National Team which is said to be the reason why Karim Benzema declined the offer to attend and support France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Furthermore, players from the France National Team seem to be pleased with Karim Benzema’s absence.
Some are set to be okay to exempt Benzema from a technical perspective, a number of them for individual profit only so the winner of the Ballon D’Or will not be displayed and others please so that they don’t lose their starting spot.

Karim Benzema’s injury at the 2022 FIFA World Cup
Karim Benzema was reigned out of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar due to a thigh muscle tear. The 34-year-old Ballon d’Or champion had been training separately from the French team due to knee and hamstring injuries. It was Benzema’s 1st comprehensive practice session, and he was obligated to depart early due to distress in his left thigh, with the French Football Federation afterward revealing the striker had “a tear” that would keep him out of the contest.
Benzema earlier said via Instagram, “In my life, I have never given up but tonight I have to think about the team, as I have always done, so reason tells me to leave my place to someone who can help our group make a good World Cup.”
