Kylian Mbappe apologizes to Florentino Perez for 2022 transfer saga amidst PSG’s plan to sell the French captain: Reports

French star Kylian Mbappe has apologized to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez amidst speculations of a shocking move to the Spanish Giants this summer. Mbappe has voiced his desire of not to continue with the Ligue 1 champions beyond 2024.

Mbappe recently sent a letter to the club in which he has made his decision not to extend his stay at the club after the next season clear. Although he has a clause in his contract that would allow him to stay at PSG for one more year after 2024, Mbappe is very clear about not triggering it.

PSG now has just two options, either to let him go on a free transfer next season or to sell him this summer to get a price. The club, however, is offended after the player sent the letter. They think no such communication was necessary as the clause would have been void if nothing was confirmed to the club by August 1. PSG has now kept its position clear on the matter. They have reportedly said that either Mbappe will sign a new contract this summer. Or he will be sold soon.

Real Madrid at keeping a close look at the situation as they are fond of the striker and have already tried to bring him to Santiago Bernabeu last summer. But it wasn’t fruitful as Mbappe chose to stay at PSG. But it seems that corners might be changed now as reports are emerging that the Frenchman might have already started to mend the broken bridges between both parties.

Mbappe might actually be on his way to a new adventure in the La Liga. According to reports, the World Cup winner has already apologized to Florentino Perez about whatever happened last year. It also suggested that Mbappe kept the communication lines open with Real Madrid for the past year even after all that happened.

Mbappe flunks rumors of leaving PSG this summer despite confirming he won’t extend his stay after 2024

Kylian Mbappe has flunked rumors of leaving PSG in the summer. But he has made it clear to the club that he won’t extend his stay after 2024. He was reportedly being linked to a sensational move to Real Madrid. This was after he confirmed his decision not to extend to the PSG hierarchy by a letter.

Mbappe happened up about the rumors that are linking him with a move outside France this summer. Talking about it to a reporter, he said, “Lies. At the same time, the bigger it is, the more it passes. I have already said that I will continue next season at PSG where I am very happy”.

Although Mbappe has made it clear that his decision of not renewing after 2024 is still the same. Mbappe then talked about his decision, as he said, “I have NEVER discussed any contract renewal with PSG. The board has been informed since July 15th, 2022 of my decision not to extend beyond 2024. And the letter sent was only meant to confirm what I already told them”.
