Kylian Mbappe to receive a €300 million signing bonus and a €100 million annual salary after rejecting Real Madrid for PSG: Reports

Real Madrid failed to get Kylian Mbappe at the last moment shocker after the Frenchman confirmed that he will stay at PSG. Paris Saint-Germain has extended Kylian Mbappe’s contract by three years.
On Friday, the Athletic claimed that PSG had made an offer to Mbappe that was two years shorter than their previous offer. With a weekly salary of £1.6 million or about £80 million per year, he is set to become the most paid player globally. Kylian Mbappe, who previously earned £463,000 per week, is expected to get a staggering €300 million signing bonus.
Mbappe’s PSG contract was set to expire in June, and it was claimed on Monday that he had reached an agreement with Real Madrid on personal matters ahead of a possible free transfer. Despite his potential move to Madrid, PSG was still trying to persuade Mbappe to reconsider his decision and he had yet to sign any paperwork with Real.
But now Mbappe will look to take forward his PSG career ahead as he is expected to make an official announcement on Sunday morning in a Le-Bron James style. He also demanded that he wants Luis Campos as the club’s sporting director instead of the current director, Leonard.
Why did Kylian Mbappe reject Real Madrid?
According to sources from Spain, it has been cleared that Kylian Mbappe has informed Real Madrid officials about his rejection to join the club next season as he will continue to stay at PSG for a further three seasons.
It’s the second time Kylian Mbappe has turned down Real Madrid as he did last season and it’s a shock to the Madrid side as the deal was almost confirmed between them and the Frenchman. This featured, among other things, a signing bonus of £130 million, complete control of the image rights, and a highly substantial salary.
Kylian Mbappe did not join Real Madrid as he will get full freedom and more power at PSG and he can take decisions for his team for signing players that could be helpful for them in European competitions eventually. The Spanish side had previously made unprecedented concessions to Mbappe, including withdrawing from the race for Erling Haaland but that was not enough to sign Mbappe.
