MLS side Inter Miami approached Sergio Ramos to sign him on a free transfer. Inter Miami has done quite a bit of business by now. They have signed Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets for the upcoming season. After ending the last season in the rearmost spot, this season, David Beckham’s side will pose serious glamour on the pitch.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the MLS side has reportedly approached Ramos to join the club ahead of the new season. This is the third offer that Ramos has on the table, including one from Saudi Pro League.
Reports also suggest that the Spanish defender is reportedly attracting interest from two Saudi Arabian clubs, Al Ahli, and Al Ittihad. Although the player reportedly wanted to move back to Lal Liga, a move to back to Spain looks rather unlikely given the age of Ramos and the kind of wage he might demand.
A mainstay in the backline for Real Madrid for more than a decade, Ramos played 671 matches for the club. Incredibly, Ramos has 101 goals and 40 assists to his name, staggering numbers from the center-back. After his contract was over with the Spanish giants back in 2021, Ramos decided not to further extend his stay at the club. He moved to the Ligue 1 giants PSG for a two-season stint. He played 58 matches for the French club but he has been out injured for many important matches and also saw a dip in his form.
Throughout his club career, the defender has reportedly seen 233 yellow cards. He saw 19 yellow cards which later in the match turned red. And he has seen nine straight red cards.
Ramos is now viewing his situation and would discuss it with his family to reach a decision on his future soon. He is currently without a club but seems like Inter Miami is trying to team him up with Messi for another stint.

We spoke with Jordi Alba while Luis Suarez has a contract and a release clause. I don’t know if that will happen or not. All the announcements will be made before July 15.”
