Inter Miami successfully orchestrated one of the biggest reunions of the decade, with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba joining the American club. The Barcelona legends have all found peace in their new environment and look relaxed as well as motivated to guide the American club to glory and success.


Luis Suarez has recently opened up on how he felt while joining his new club and the emotions that went through his spine on reconnecting with Messi professionally. Giving credit to David Beckham for his ambitious project, the Uruguayan also commended his days in Barcelona, where the duo formed a formidable partnership.

I didn't think we could be teammates again. I always thought that Leo would end his career at Barcelona. In 2019, we dreamed of winning everything with Barça and retiring there. But then I left first. It's nice to meet again now.

Suarez, who scored 26 goals for Gremio last season, brings a wealth of experience to the team, emphasizing the importance of their friendship and shared on-field understanding during the quartet’s first training session. Convinced to join Inter Miami by co-owner David Beckham, Suarez dreams big and sets ambitious goals for the team, highlighting the opportunity to continue his successful career and contribute substantially on the pitch.

Looking ahead, Suarez aims to secure a spot in the Uruguay national team for the Copa America, hoping to showcase his form and performance during the tournament. With their first pre-season test scheduled against the El Salvador national team on January 19, Inter Miami, under the guidance of coach Gerardo ‘Tata‘ Martino, is gearing up for an exciting season, culminating with the MLS opener against Real Salt Lake on February 15.
