Legendary Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez has denied rumors claiming his move to Inter Miami. He was linked to the Miami club after Lionel Messi announced his move to the MLS side. Messi is a long-time comrade of Luis Suarez.
Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez alongside Brazilian footballer Neymar formed the MSN trio for Barcelona. The trio contributed to 122 goals amongst themselves during the 2014-15 season for Barca. They also clinched the Champions League title in the 14-15 season together. The MSN powered Barca to three La Liga titles as well.
Suarez dismissed the rumors, telling the daily El Observador that he would not be traveling to Miami as had been previously reported. “This is false, it is impossible,” he said. “I am very happy at Gremio and I have a contract until 2024.” Suarez joined Gremio in December 2022 on a free transfer after a brief spell with Nacional, signing a two-year deal with the Brazilian side. The reunion of the MSN does not look to happen anytime soon.
The third member of the MSN, Neymar made the following comments on Messi’s move to Miami. He said- “I knew he would come here, we had already talked about it. I told him he would be happy in Miami. I’m very happy for him, and at the same time a little sad because he left.” Rumors also claim Neymar himself is on the move from his club PSG after another injury-marred season.

Inter Miami set to bolster squad
Inter Miami has rocked the footballing world by signing Lionel Messi. The south beach outfit has confirmed the Argentinian maestro as their latest player. They further aim to improve their squad by signing more stars. The next aim at signing the departing Barca captain Sergio Busquets.
Sergio Busquets, a close friend of Messi’s who just departed Barcelona after a trophy-laden 15-year run with the first team that included over 700 matches, will be joining him. Busquets had also drawn interest from Saudi Arabia, but he declined the money on offer in favor of teaming up with Messi.
Miami shall look to improve its season post the arrival of these stars. They are currently last in the Eastern Conference of the MLS and are hoping on Messi for a turnaround in their fortunes. With Busquets joining him, the hope of playoffs for Miami looks more likely.
