The 24-year-old forward got injured during Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Brentford last weekend. He joined the Reds’ lengthy list of injured players, which includes key stars like Mohamed Salah, Alisson, and Diogo Jota. Despite their absence, the club registered their 10th EFL Cup win by defeating Chelsea in the final. Virgil Van Dijk’s extra-time goal helped secure the title for a Liverpool side, that featured as many as six academy youngsters.
