Malaga fans were seen expressing their anger and frustration at Malaga’s failed signing this summer transfer window. The fans pulled over to the city’s airport and hilariously started greeting stranger tourists as their new signings to their favorite club.
Dressed in the Malaga t-shirt, the fans took the matter into their own hands. The clip posted on social media became widespread, as the supporters can be seen singing songs, cheering, trying to get tourists’ autographs, and interviewing them as new signings. Even one of the fans was seen dressing up like a sheikh to mimic the Qatari-based owner of Malaga, Abdullah Al Thani.
Due to a lack of funding and the absence of any new talent joining the club, a group of supporters went over to the airport and started mobbing tourists. However, the Malaga coach has brought up many free signings this season, the fans seem upset about the club’s current state of the Andalucia club.
Malaga CF’s current situation with the new season

Malaga CF has been dropped off from La Liga in the 2018/19 season. They are currently in the third division of the Spanish football, Primera Federación. In the last season, they finished off in the 13th position in group 2.
Los Blanquiazules’ downfall from the top tier league of Spain, La Liga to La Liga 2 in 2023 and now being relegated to tier 3 of Spanish football, Primera Federación is majorly caused by the financial crisis. In the new season, they have acquired new signings, namely, Nelson Monte, Juanpe, and Juan Hernandez.
As the 2023/24 season unfolds, Malaga’s loyal fans and supporters are keenly keeping an eye on the club’s plans and ambition to shift their ranking high in the division.
