“It’s disrespectful,” Man United legend Roy Keane slams Brazilian players for their goal celebrations against South Korea in the 2022 FIFA World Cup

Roy Keane on Brazilian squad's celebration

After the devastating loss of South Korea against Brazil in the round of 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Manchester United legend Roy Keane criticized the Selecao players who were celebrating in front of the Korean squad every time they ball inside the net. Brazil netted four impressive goals against the Koreans. Keane criticized the fact that the dancing is good once but not every time you score.

Roy Keane expressed his views on the dancing celebration, and it is clear that the man is disgusted by it. “It’s disrespectful dancing like that every time they score. I don’t mind it for the first goal but not every time. Even their manager got involved. I don’t like it.” Said the man after watching them celebrate when the Brazilian manager even joined them in the celebration.

Neymar, Richarlison, Vinicius Junior, and others were involved in the celebration. Vinicius is habitual of the dancing as he’s also been practicing that stuff in La Liga. Some players or pundits don’t need to celebrate like this in front of the opponent’s crowd. Legendary Barcelona player Carles Puyol also expressed his anger once when Dani Alves and others were dancing and celebrating after scoring a goal while playing for Barcelona. The captain came and silenced them.

Brazil marched quickly past their round of 16 competition, slamming four against them and conceding one in return. Son Heung-Min also received love and appreciation from the crowd and the club-fellow Richarlison, who penned an emotional message for the star’s significant achievement in bringing his nation to such an extent. Brazil stands in the quarterfinals face to face with Croatia.

The Selecao triumphed to a 4-1 win over South Korea, riding on goals from Vinicius Junior, Neymar, Richarlison, and Lucas Paqueta in the first half of the game. South Korean player Seung Ho Paik scored a scorcher outside the penalty box as a consolation. After this win, the Selecao progressed to the quarterfinal of the FIFA World Cup 2022. The Selecao will take on Croatia in the last eight after the Croatian side, led by Luka Modric, edged past Japan just a day prior.

After returning to action after injuring his ankle in the opener a few matches ago and missing two games, Neymar got in on the scoring just a few minutes later and gave an assist. Selecao’s latest enemies Croatia have cemented their place in the quarterfinals by beating Japan on penalties after a pulsating draw(1-1). The Croatian side is to be feared as they made their mystical run to the finals last campaign, but Selecao’s current squad comes second to none.
