Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag has spoken confidently of his players and their abilities to find back form. While discussing Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund, ten Hag did not shy away from defending their capabilities to become top players.

The Danish forward who was signed for £72 million from Atalanta, has been going through a goal drought. Irrespective of him being the joint-top scorer in the Champions League so far, he is yet to find the net in the Premier League. Erik ten Hag, however, believes that it is “only a matter of time” before the 20 year old young striker fits into the team and starts performing to their expectations.

I have a strong belief in Hojlund and in Rashford that they are capable of scoring a lot of goals.
Erik ten Hag said on Hojlund and Rashford

In an interview with TNT Sports, the manager displayed confidence in his players and squad, indicating that the club might not be very active during the upcoming transfer window. He also motivated Marcus Rashford who has shockingly lost his place in the starting eleven to Argentine forward Alejandro Garnacho.

Rashford, last year under me, proved he can score many goals when he's at his best. He will score many goals, I'm sure.

The Red Devil’s manager asked the fans to look back upon last season and Rashford’s stunning form which he believes can come back soon. He emphasized his trust in the player to rediscover his form and guide United to important points and glory, as they look to improve their position in the league.

Manchester United target Sevilla’s striker to deal with goalscoring problems

Manchester United are eyeing for a January move for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri after Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy leans towards Tottenham Hotspur. With Rasmus Hojlund yet to score in the Premier League since his summer signing, United aims to bolster its attack.

Manchester United now focuses on Youssef En-Nesyri, a prolific 26-year-old Moroccan striker, recognized as one of the traditional number 9s in La Liga. With two Europa League titles at Sevilla, En-Nesyri has scored 62 goals in 179 games since joining in January 2020. His physical style of play could be the goal-scoring solution United seeks.

Scouts, dispatched by manager Erik ten Hag, monitor the striker, under contract until June 2025, with a potential £16 million transfer fee to address Sevilla’s financial constraints. The 6ft 2in forward, who played a pivotal role in helping Morocco reach the World Cup semi-final last year, presents a compelling option for a United squad seeking an offensive spark.
