Manchester City fans were seen doing the Poznan just 25 minutes into the match against Chelsea FC. The club already were declared the champions of the Premier League after Arsenal lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest last evening.
Man City fans didn’t waste any time. They started the celebrations off the league victory within the first 30 minutes of the match. The club scored the first and the only goal of the match in the 12th minute. It was Julian Alvarez who scored for City for the 9th time this season. The Champions defeated Chelsea with relative ease. Although the title victory was not always certain during the whole season.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal were pretty dominating during the first half of the league. They were the table toppers and were the probable champions. Fans thought this was the season for them to win the Premier League after a long wait. But it seems like Pep’s Man City did beat them at the end.
Manchester City lifts the Premier League trophy for the seventh time. It their fifth Premier League title under Pep Guardiola. They now have two more finals ahed of them. One is the FA cup final against arch rivals Manchester United. The other is the UEFA Champions League Finals against Inter Milan. Guardiola would surely look forward for a treble as it seems he has all the chances in the world to make it happen this season.
