Manchester City chief Pep Guardiola absolutely eliminated the revenge-narrative before the match against Real Madrid. Guardiola was weary of not sending the wrong message against the defending champions of the competition and made sure to emphasize on Los Blancos’ superiority in the competion.

Talking about their recent form in the past few years, Guardiola agreed that if they keep on asking the right questions, Manchester City will eventually win the UCl. He said, “One day we will reach the final and we will win it. I wouldn’t like to win the Champions League and then go down and down and down. Being stable is the most important things as a club, Madrid are an example.”

In the previous Semi finals when these two giants faced each other Madrid snatched the victory from the mouths of Man City in the second leg in a magical way. Where Rodrygo scored two fantastic goals and captain Benzema scored the winning penalty which led Madrid to victory.

And this year too both the clubs are very much desperate to go into the Finals and win the title. Where if Madrid goes to the finals and win it would be their 15th title while on the other side if Man City goes into the finals and win it would be their first title.

But many football fans and some big names like Wayne Rooney thinks that Madrid will not make it to the finals this season and Man City will move the tables around. Many Man City fans think this match is revenge to get against the Whites.

Bernardo Silva also thinks this match on getting revenge against Madrid during an interview a reporter asked Silva whether he’s hopeful of getting revenge against Madrid to which he replied, “Hopefully yes! We will go for it. We always go for it, but we feel the team is very, very confident at the minute. I think we are going through.”

Will Luka Modric start against Man City?

But Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Modric is fit and will start against Mac City in the semi-finals. Ancelotti quoted “He can play without problem. He is going to play”.
