Manchester United and Real Madrid are set to clash in a highly anticipated pre-season match on July 26 in Houston. The friendly will be played as part of the Red Devis’ USA tour.
With 55 league titles between them, Manchester United and Real Madrid are the most successful teams in England and Spain. The most recent US encounter took place in 2014 in front of 109,318 people at The Big House in Michigan. It remains the largest crowd for a football match played on American soil.
Houston is an ideal venue for the marquee pre-season match. It is known for its passion for sports and is home to the Houston Rockets (National Basketball Association) and Houston Dynamo (Major League Soccer). The city’s vibrant atmosphere and enthusiastic fans will undoubtedly add to the spectacle, creating an electric atmosphere in the stadium.
Manchester United’s other confirmed friendly fixtures include a game against Premier League rivals Arsenal on July 22, before playing National League champions Wrexham three days later. They also take on Borussia Dortmund on July 31. Marcus Rashford injury a huge blow to Manchester United
Manchester United’s star forward Marcus Rashford is set to miss the Red Devils’ Premier League game against Wolves due to injury. The Englishman previously missed a few games due to a muscle problem.
