Erik Ten Hag after dropping Cristiano Ronaldo had a very good start with the club this season. But now he is worried that whether the club will make it to the top four or not due to the performance of certain players.

Ten Hag is worried about the club’s history and has warned the higher-ups and the fans about some players who are not setting up in the squad. This has always been the case with Manchester Utd the higher-ups of the club are least interested in building a strong trophy-winning squad instead they always sign players who are in trend and who can help to generate a lot of money.

Even managers like Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have experienced such things with the players. Roy Kean once warned Ole about his job after a disappointing defeat against Tottenham in 2020.

Kean quoted, “I’ve been saying it for the last 12 months, a year and a half. Their performance against Spurs was disgraceful. You all have bad days in football, but some of the players were a disgrace to the Man United badge.

He further added, “There are too many bluffers, and ultimately these players will cost Ole his job. The players he has got there, they threw the previous manager under the bus, and they will do the same to Ole.”

The club has supported the players who were not worthy of the jersey. And sacked the managers who took actions. The current manager is worried about this same thing.

The Red Devil had a good start to the season and the new inductions were flawless in their positions. However, the club is now struggling to make its place in the top four positions. If this poor performance continues the club will likely miss the Champions League next season also.

Erik Ten Hag joined Manchester United in 2022 with a vision to win trophies and titles for the club. And to help Man Utd compete with other big Premier League clubs.

As a coach with a very specific playing style, Ten Hag was not afraid to take bold calls from the very first day in the club. Under his vigilance, both Ronaldo and Harry Maguire were relegated to the bench as they did not suit his style of play which revolved around young and mobile forwards with fluid movements and defenders who are assured with the ball in their feet. It was just a matter of time for the Dutch to cross the Portuguese superstar. Ronaldo was seen leaving the field before the end of matches and also had a very open bust-up with the manager.

However, he apologized to the players and fans and Ten Hag gave him the armband for the following match. This arrangement was not going to work for long as the 38-year-old goal-hungry Ronaldo appeared in a video interview with Piers Morgan. The dynamite of an interview made headlines all over the world as Ronaldo lambasted both the owners of the club and the manager. Ronaldo’s contract was soon terminated with “mutual consent” as the talisman went to Al Nassr.
