Mason Greenwood in action for Manchester United
According to some recent reports, Manchester United has reportedly received a few formal offers for Mason Greenwood, who was recently cleared of all s***ual assault charges by the local police. However, despite this, as per their last statement, the Red Devils will conduct an internal investigation before taking any further action on Greenwood.
Mason Greenwood was arrested in 2022 on the account of domestic and s***ual abuse on his girlfriend, Harriet Robson. However, in 2023, all the charges on the English player were dropped and he even got back together with Robson. What’s even more interesting is the fact that a few days back, there was a report that claimed that two are soon expecting their first baby. They were recently spotted by fans together outside a store in Manchester as well.
Since Greenwood’s charges have been dropped, there have been speculations over his possible comeback to Old Trafford. However, as per some reports, many players in the dressing room don’t want him around, and Manchester United’s women’s team also doesn’t want the management to take him back.
If these reports are to be true, Manchester United might seriously think about these offers, which are mainly from Turkey, Norway, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands, where the transfer window is still open.

Turkish league’s Fenerbahce leads race to sign Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood
As per earlier reports, Turkish club, Fenerbahce is the frontrunner to sign Mason Greenwood from Manchester United if the Red Devils agree to sell the player. The other interests are from China, where Greenwood can restart his career before returning to European football.
Greenwood last featured for Manchester United in a Premier League match against West Ham United in January 2022. The Red Devils won that match 1-0 after Marcus Rashford’s winner after he came off the bench. As a result, it has been about 14 months since the Englishman played his last professional football match.
As far as his numbers are concerned, Greenwood has scored 36 goals and given 12 assists in 130 matches across his professional career. Interestingly, he hasn’t played for any other club other than the Red Devils so far and began his career at the club’s youth academy only. It is because of this reason that it’ll be interesting to see if Manchester United will sell or loan one of their own players despite him getting acquitted of all charges or not.
