In a shocking turn of events, Manchester United have banished the once-promising young prodigy from first-team training. Jadon Sancho recently had a very public fallout with manager Erik Ten Hag. The United boss blamed him for overlooking his disciplinary issues and being late for training multiple times. He was omitted from the team squad which faced Arsenal.
Erik Ten Hag had called out Sancho for his ‘poor performances in training’ very publically. Sancho’s social media response, where he labeled himself a ‘scapegoat’ for the club’s poor results, stirred controversy. However, the post has now been deleted, possibly to ease tensions with the management.
He further expressed his commitment to perform for the Red Devils and play with a smile. However, according to Sky Sports, things have turned sour, as Sancho reportedly refused to apologize to the manager. The club has now officially put the player on a personal training program, away from the first-team group, pending the resolution of a ‘squad discipline issue.’
The situation worsens for Manchester United, who lacks depth in the winger position. Anthony is currently under police investigation, and Sancho has been excluded from the first team. This has left the club’s fans feeling profoundly saddened and uncertain about the English Club’s future. These issues could be underlying more significant problems with the club. The fans however remain divided in the recent treatment of players ever since the new manager’s arrival.
