“With you if you need me” – Antony in farewell message to Manchester United boss, Eric ten Hag
Antony has been linked with a move to Old Trafford ever since Eric ten Hag was announced as their new manager. It seems the Brazilian winger is ready to follow his manager to the new club in search of a new challenge. Antony scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 33 appearances for Ajax last season.
In a Farwell message to ten Hag, Antony said, “I want to wish you all the best at your new club. I also want to thank you for everything you taught me. I am thankful for all the opportunities and learning every day. Know that I will always stand with you if you need me.”
According to Brazil’s Jorge Nicola, Manchester United have submitted their first bid to Ajax at the request of Eric ten Hag. However, Ajax are yet to accept the offer and is most likely to ask for more money for their 22-year-old star.
