According to various reports, Manchester United’s captain, Harry Maguire, and his family have received some threats that including a bomb threat in the last 24 hours. Following this, the Police searched his home in Northern England over the possible implantation of a bomb. Harry Macguire stays with his fiance and two children.
The police were called over the phone to control the situation and arrived with sniff dogs to search for any threat in the house. According to the statement of the Cheshire Police, a call was made to the Cheshire police station from the Wilmslow area over a report of a bomb.
A spokesperson of Harry Macguire has reported that in the last 24 hours, the player has received a serious threat to his family home. According to the statement of the Police, it is clear that everyone’s safety is their main concern and topmost priority. Maguire will make no comments further about this tough situation until the police complete their investigation over the ‘bomb threat’.
“In the last 24 hours, Harry has received a serious threat to his family home. He has reported this to the police who are now looking into the matter. The safety of his family and those around him is Harry’s number one priority”, said the spokesperson in his statement on behalf of Harry Maguire.
