English footballer Mason Greenwood was considered one of the most promising attackers in the Premier League. Later, the striker’s career was threatened with legal battles after being accused of multiple charges of assaulting and harming his former girlfriend, Harriet Robinson. Although, rumors are now spreading that Robinson and Greenwood might have started dating each other once again.
The two youngsters started following each other on Instagram once again. In fact, Robinson and Greenwood started following each other on the social media site in October and might be seeing each other again. Reports also suggest that Harriet Robinson plans to move back to Greenwood’s house and drop all charges against him.
A year ago, Harriet accused the football star of r*ping her at the Cheshire mansion, where the couple stayed back then. Robinson shared her bruised pictures and videos as evidence on Instagram back in January. Mason Greenwood was arrested after this incident and has been prosecuted ever since. Manchester United suspended his contract until his legal war didn’t come to an end.
How did Mason Greenwood finish his own football career?
At one point in his career, Mason Greenwood played a vital role in Manchester United’s attack and was known for his exciting dribbling skills and lethal finishing. Despite all this talent, Greenwood hasn’t played a single minute of professional football in over a year.
The promising attacker found himself in legal mud after Harriet Robinson accused him of assaulting and r*ping her online. Greenwood’s Manchester United contract was immediately suspended, and the club announced that they did not support the footballer in any way.
Mason Greenwood has almost ended his career in top-flight football after these accusations. While he was banished from the club, Nike’s sporting partners confirmed that they would terminate their deal with the player. However, a way back to the top flight might’ve been paved for the English striker, as he’s reportedly patched things up with Robinson. In addition to that, the charges dropped will surely play a crucial role in his return to the pitch.
