Under Carlo Ancelotti, the 27-year-old didn’t get much game time and expects the same if he renewed his contract with the Whites. Marco Asensio has only started 15 games this season. However, the player has provided 15 goal contributions in just 30 league games.

Asensio was linked with clubs like PSG and Arsenal but as per reports, Unai Emery is desperate to sign the player for the next season. The manager has a project that is fit for Asensio and has also taken steps to convince him to come to Villa Park.

Aston Villa could be a good transfer for Asensio as the club has qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League. And more importantly, the player will get to start the majority of the games. So he would not have a lack of game time in Aston Villa.

Karim Benzema has been a key player in the squad of Real Madrid. He had a very big hand in helping Madrid to win its 14th Champions League Title. But as per recent reports, the French striker has been given a staggering offer by a Saudi club worth 200 million euros for two seasons.

And the reports have also claimed that Benzema is likely to sign this contract. If the Frenchman leaves Real Madrid then the club would be at a great loss for a year. Without a proper striker, the attacking lineup of the squad will be disturbed and the team would face difficulty in scoring goals.

To avoid these problems Los Blancos are speculating to sign a striker on a short-term basis. Currently, the club is keeping an eye on Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, and Roberto Firmino. So if Benzema leaves then the fans might see one of this player playing for the club on a short-term basis.
