Neymar Jr., the Brazilian superstar is a fan favorite when it comes to his stylish outfits, luxury lifestyle, and party atmosphere. He is no stranger to sporting quirky haircuts in the past. From his all-white hair at Barcelona to his dreadlocks at the start of his move to PSG, the footballing world has been witness to Neymar’s numerous hairstyles.


He has also sported a shaved head, blonde curls during the 2018 World Cup, a classic mohawk, and the unmissable pink bleached hair. Most recently, the player posted images on social media, revealing his most recent haircut to the world. As Neymar recovers from a serious ACL injury, the 31-year-old has experimented with yet another style.

He has shaved his hair, nearly bald, and has trimmed his mustache to a light stubble. Neymar also has a light beard to complement his latest hairdo. He also has a cut on his right eyebrow and the whole trim accentuates his neck and chest tattoos.

The internet, however, is not impressed with his latest look and has taken to Twitter to make fun of the player’s new trim.

The footballing community has soaked up Neymar’s latest look, and the initial verdicts are out. Many fans of the player are not impressed, dubbing it the “worst look” Neymar has had to date. Others feel like the player looks old in his latest trim. “Worst decision ever”, “looks hideous” and “not everyone can pull off the bald look” are a few of the negative comments.

One fan even said, “Dude is unofficially retired,” pointing to his ‘old’ haircut. Similarities to the animated character ‘Megamind’ were also drawn by a few fans. “His hairline is gone man,” said a fan, pointing to his receding hairline. “This man does anything but play some football,” read a hilarious comment.

The player is recovering from a recent ACL injury, which he sustained during a game in October. He has now missed over 579 days since his 28th birthday in 2020. The player left PSG to join Saudi club Al-Hilal last summer in a €90 million deal. He only played a handful of games before sustaining an injury during International duty. He is expected to be sidelined for 8-10 months.
