The winger extended his tally after a stunning first-half brace to bring Los Blancos back in the game from dead. What was even more intriguing was Vinicius’s celebration as he yet again emulated his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo‘s celebration, after netting the ball the second time.

After a final-clinching goal against the Merseyside club, Vinicius Jr. shocked Mohamed Salah and company to retain a two-goal disadvantage produced by the home side in the first fifteen minutes of the game. Thibaut Courtois‘ error in front of the goal gave Liverpool a two-goal cushion against the European champions. Liverpool keeper, Alisson Becker equalized the Beligian’s mistake and helped his international teammate Vinicius guide the ball in by mistake.

The 22-year-old has been producing magic against the biggest teams in the world in recent years. Vinicius Jr. surprised the Premier League side with a world-class strike to open Real Madrid’s scoring. Despite having limited opportunities in the game, the winger charged the Liverpool defense with optimism and produced two goals out of nothing.
