Paul Pogba’s latest documentary shows him and agent Mino Raiola turning down a £300,000-per-week offer from Manchester United
Paul Pogba is set to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season, following six seasons in the Premier League that occasionally promised a lot but frequently fell short.
It’s the second time the Frenchman has been permitted to leave the club on his own terms, having done so under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2012. Both times, the club attempted to keep him, but he chose to go, with Juventus thought to be his ultimate stop, as it was ten years before.
On Friday, the same day that ‘Pogmentary’ is launched, the 29-year-old is set to announce his choice to return to the Old Lady.

Paul Pogba has his documentary released after exit from Manchester United
“Paul, you find yourself in a unique predicament. You have no notion what’s going on. You’ve got no clue, “Last July, the agent told his client over the phone.
“Did Manchester [United] make a counter-offer?” inquires the midfielder.
“Yes. They are adamant that you remain. The offer, in my opinion, does not represent this. ‘If you want him to remain, don’t make that offer,’ I advised them. I’ll make them realize that if they truly want you to remain and create a project around you, they must behave differently this time and put money on the table “Then Raiola adds.
“”How can you tell a player you really want him and then offer him nothing?” Pogba responds. That is something I have never seen before.”
Raiola’s argument that United needs to demonstrate that they should construct a squad around the World Cup champion may be received with snorts of mockery from the team’s supporters.
The Frenchman was injured for much of last season, as he had been the year before, and never quite lived up to his reputation as one of the finest midfielders in the world.
Fergie may have summed up Pogba’s flaws best some years ago when he told a player, “When Pogba arrived at the club for the first time, “When you see this guy, you will realize that he is special and gifted. He’ll be at the pinnacle of his profession. But he’s a dreamer, and if no one shows him the road, he’ll never get there.”
Pogba might not have ended up with the guy at Old Trafford to show him the direction.
