“Anyone got some Xanax,” Piers Morgan brutally trolls Erik ten Hag over 7-0 defeat against Liverpool
Pierce Morgan finally had his say on Eric Ten Hag with a series of tweets.
Piers Morgan
Piers Morgan tore into Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag after their embarrassing 7-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield. The Red Devils conceded six goals in the second half in an extraordinary collapse. It was a particularly shocking result after Ten Hag’s men recently won the Carabao Cup and had been unbeaten for over a month.
Cristiano Ronaldo gave an explosive with Morgan where he went after Ten Hag, the club’s facilities, the Glazers, and his teammates. United decided to tear up his contract, with Ronaldo not getting the £16 million compensation he would normally be owed. Morgan continues to be on the Portuguese’s side, and after Sunday’s result, he went after Ten Hag with a series of tweets.
He first shared a photo of Ten Hag dancing with Lisandro Martinez and Antony after their Carabao Cup final win at Wembley and wrote: “Don’t think we’ll be seeing any dancing tonight.” Piers then shared a newspaper article on Ten Hag’s admission that he isn’t losing any sleep over Ronaldo’s exit and said: “Good luck with your sleep tonight, genius.”
The series of tweets ended with a call for Ten Hag to resign, saying, “Has Ten Hag resigned yet? How can any Manchester United manager survive a performance & result that catastrophically dreadful?”. Erik ten Hag has managed 42 games for United so far, winning 30, drawing 5 and losing 7. His win rate of 71.4% is higher than any United manager in the post-Fergie era.

What next for Manchester United?
Erik ten Hag’s men take on Real Betis midweek for their Europa League round-of-16 tie. The Red Devils have a busy schedule, playing 4 times in 9 days. They host Southampton at Old Trafford before travelling to Spain for the second leg of their Europa League tie. United will round off the busy schedule with a FA Cup quarterfinal against Fulham. Erik ten Hag and his players will hope they can bounce back from this devastating loss and prove their naysayers wrong.
