British media personality Piers Morgan once again captured headlines, for a comment aimed at Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp following the club’s win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final. Piers took a dig at the German manager for getting emotional after the EFL Cup win.

The 56-year-old German manager, who will depart Liverpool at the end of the season after an eight-year stint, was visibly emotional after winning the Carabao Cup. The match against Chelsea saw Virgil van Dijk score the winning goal in the 118th minute from a corner kick. Moreover, Klopp described the victory as one of the most memorable in the club’s history, drawing criticism from Piers Morgan.

Piers Morgan, who is known to be an Arsenal fan, shared a social media message, ridiculing Jurgen Klopp for getting emotional after the EFL Cup win. The British journalist suggested Klopp move on, implying the trophy wasn’t worth getting emotional over. However, this isn’t the first time Morgan has stirred controversy, as he previously called for Manchester United to dismiss Erik ten Hag in a public message to Marcus Rashford.
