Piers Morgan labels these three Premier League youngsters as the best players in the world over Messi, Haaland, and Mbappe
Piers Morgan considers three Arsenal superstars as the top players in the world.
Arsenal
English Premier League is celebrating the return of Arsenal to the Bracket of elite teams they were part of. The North-Londerers have struggled to produce performances worthy of their legacy for decades. Under coach Mikel Arteta the team has gone through a major change, and he has built a team around young superstars, who could one day be among the greatest of the sport and currently sit at the top of the League.
The impressive season has not just brought stardom to the young Gunners, but a few of them have found themselves in the discussion of the best in the world. Renowned English journalist Piers Morgan has given his op[inion on who he considers the three best players in the world. “The three best players in the world right now are Odegaard, Saka, and Zinchenko. Morgan, a lifelong Arsenal fan, influenced his answer as he snubbed supreme talents like Kylian Mbappae and Earling Haaland while choosing the best. He also overlooked 2022 FIFA World Cup winner Lionel Messi, which isn’t surprising considering Morgan’s affiliation with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Martin Odegaard‘s intellect and creativity are vital in Arsenal’s pursuit of the title; the Norwegian is assisting Bukayo Saka in shining on the Gunners’. While attacking and defending, Oleksandr Zinchenko has also been outstanding since moving to London from Manchester. The Gunners dominated Manchester United demonstrating that their early-season success is no fluke. They have shown their grit and serenity in getting a victory multiple times, most notably against Liverpool. Teams are suffocated by their ability to attack in numbers, compelling them to drop deep and yield.
Odegaard is generally seen laying the framework for his teammates when he isn’t adding the finishing touches himself. This season, the former Real Madrid man looks to have made a concerted effort to become more of a goal threat. Odegaard takes 2.8 shots every 90 minutes, up from 1.7 last season. In 2021/22, 50% were inside the penalty area, compared to 41% inside the 18-yard box. Bukayo Saka has 7 assists after 21 games in the 2022/2023 season. With these numbers, he is ranked second in the Premier League. He has also produced a total of 28 opportunities. With these statistics, he is ranked eighth in the Premier League. At the same time, Zinchenko was outstanding on the back line, and it surprisingly increased the teams odds at these new betting sites.

Piers Morgan takes a bizarre dig at Lionel Messi and reveals text chats from Cristiano Ronaldo
Piers Morgan criticized Lionel Messi while defending Cristiano Ronaldo’s relocation to Saudi Arabia. Cristiano Ronaldo sealed a surprising transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr earlier this month, where he will earn over £173 million yearly. The agreement came after Ronaldo mutually dissolved his association with Manchester United in November following a shocking interview with Morgan.
Morgan now claims that Ronaldo’s departure to the Middle East “gives him an edge” over Messi, which contradicts his interview with Ronaldo from two months ago, in which the bombastic presenter commended the Portuguese star for refusing to relocate to Saudi Arabia. “If it were simply about money, you’d be in Saudi Arabia earning this king’s ransom, but that’s not what motivates you,” Morgan said to Ronaldo before adding, “You want to stay at the top.” “Exactly,” Ronaldo replied, nodding in agreement.
However, Morgan has now made a quick U-turn on his concept of playing in Saudi Arabia, stating in an interview with Tatler: “Thanks to the fall-out from our conversation, Ronaldo secured the greatest transfer deal in football history, and is now the world’s highest-paid athlete, at the age of 37.”
Despite Morgan and Ronaldo agreeing in November that it was good that the player had not relocated to Saudi Arabia, Piers continued: “He’s pleased. I’ve exchanged a few messages with him, and he’s having a great time both on and off the field.”
