Kylian Mbappé wants to convince Lionel Messi to stay at Paris-Saint-Germain. Mbappe reportedly believes that Messi still has a lot to do at PSG. The Frenchman values Messi’s contribution at the club.

Messi’s contract with PSG expires this June at the end of the current season. The Argentine has been linked with a number of clubs as his next destination. Although nothing is final, Messi has been reportedly been rumored to be interested in a sensational comeback to his boyhood club FC Barcelona.

As per reports, PSG has tabled a contract extension to Messi. But Messi hasn’t agreed to PSG’s proposal. Although it is said that PSG stars Kylian Mbappe isn’t prepared to part ways with his current teammate Messi. Mbappe is rumored to be trying to convince the Argentine superstar to extent his stay at the French capital. Kylian reportedly feels that a lot of work is left for Messi to do in the Parisian club.

It is to be seen if the French goal scorer can convince his Argentine counterpart to continue providing his services to PSG beyond this summer. Or will this be the last season for Messi in a PSG jersey.

PSG can have a moment of relief as Neymar Jr has returned to Paris Saint-Germain’s training Centre. He returned with the members of the club’s medical staff and the surgeons who operated on him. His return proceeded with the removal of his protective boot on Thursday.

After receiving reassuring results from his tests, Neymar will now be able to continue his rehabilitation protocol in Paris. The Brazilian was stretchered off in PSG’s Ligue 1 clash against Lille on February 19. While the club was reportedly optimistic about Neymar’s return in the beginning. The doctors recommended surgery to repair his ligaments in the ankle. This ruled Neymar out for the season.

In Ligue 1, Neymar has 11 goals and 13 assists in 20 appearances, this season. PSG seems to be getting a bit of relief with this news, as Neymar has been performing well for them this season. The club is on its way to lifting the Ligue 1 title yet another time. Although Galtier’s side has seen a grave dip in their performance and form, getting Neymar back could be the push the whole team needed.
