Real Madrid is a club that has had the tradition of buying the best players of the world to make the best team in the World. Since the turn of the millennium they have had no qualms in spending big bucks on players like Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard, Jude Bellingham and so many more. To keep up with the trend, it would make sense that they will try to purchase one of the best players in the world, Kylian Mbappe.
In 2022, Madrid were close to signing the French forward but he changed his mind at the last second and signed a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain. Despite that, Los Blancos and Fiorentino Perez have still set their mind on the 25-year-old, believing he will soon play at the Santiago Bernabeu.
On the other hand, PSG President, Nasser Al Khelaifi, says he will do anything to keep the superstar in Paris. Al Khelaifi believes PSG is the best place for him where he can be the center for everything:
Of course I want Kylian to stay, for sure. He is the best player in the world and the best club for Kylian is Paris. He is at the center of everything. He’s key for our projectNasser Al Khelaifi to Rothen s’enflamme
Mbappe was close to signing for Real Madrid but decided to stay at PSG by signing a contract extension. With his contract having only 6 months left, Real Madrid have reignited their interest in the star, hoping they would get him for the next season.
Kylian Mbappe’s agent reveals she doesn’t like being given deadlines
Fayza Lamari, Kylian Mbappe’s mother, has been her son’s agent ever since he broke into the World of football. A former handball player, Lamari has handled all of his negotiations and transfers, but she recently revealed that there was one thing she despised the most.
According to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, Lamari has informed her close friends she despises given deadlines for decisions on her son’s future. This news comes after Real Madrid gave the 25-year-old a deadline of mid-January to decide his future.
Real Madrid wait for Mbappe to decide now. With only 6 months left for his contract to end, they could get Mbappe on a free transfer, but they do face a challenge from Liverpool.
