Raphinha on the verge of signing a Barcelona deal after the Catalan club reportedly matches Chelsea’s bid

In his search to leave Elland Road this summer, Raphinha has a variety of possibilities, but Barcelona holds the most attraction for him.

Barcelona’s financial difficulties have made it difficult to sign fresh players and much more difficult for Leeds to pay Raphinha’s asking price.

Raphinha, who has made it plain that he wants to transfer to the Camp Nou, has still been a big assistance to them. He is currently battling for his move to Spain and pressuring Leeds to reach an agreement with Barcelona.

Barcelona recently upped their Raphinha offer, but Leeds has not yet approved the transaction. But the Whites have already hired Luis Sinisterra from Feyenoord as they prepare for life without Raphinha.

Is Raphina getting closer to FC Barcelona?

Raphinha is pressuring Leeds to reach a deal with Barcelona, according to a previous Fabrizio-Romano source, after the Catalans submitted an increased offer for the Brazilian.

Raphinha wasn’t included in Leeds’ preseason squad for the team’s trip to Australia, which signals a deal is imminent, however, it’s believed Barcelona will need to use their second financial leverage first.

Nevertheless, Diario-Sport is certain that a Raphinha move is imminent. According to the Catalan daily, the forward is “convinced” the transaction will close soon and he may even travel to the city on Monday. Ousmane-Dembele may join Raphinha in Barcelona. The forward has been seen returning to the city and is anticipated to sign a two-year deal quickly.

Raheem Sterling, a winger for Manchester City, is allegedly being acquired by Chelsea for £47.5 million (with a further £2.5 million in add-ons).

Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter Milan on a season-long loan may force Thomas Tuchel to look for another attacker, but as things stand, Chelsea will have plenty of choices.
