Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has responded to rumors linking him with a switch to Barcelona. In his response, he suggested that he is perfectly happy at the Bernabeu and he would never leave Madrid for arch-rivals FC Barcelona.
In a recent interview, while responding to this rumor, Carlo said, “I’d never join Barcelona in my life, impossible. No way. My history is here at Real Madrid. It is the best club in the world. People love me here.”
Chelsea are reportedly interested in acquiring Carlo’s services for the club. In case that happens then it would be his second stint at the club.
However, Madrid coach Carlo is not the only candidate being considered. Ex-River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo is also being considered for the role, according to reports. Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique are also thought to have big admirers within the Chelsea hierarchy. With so many big names flying around, Boehly will undoubtedly have a tough decision to make ahead of next season.

Real Madrid manager confident that star players will extend their stay at the club: Reports

Carlo Ancelotti believes Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos will stay at Real Madrid next season. The trio are out of contract at the end of the current season. And Ancelotti confirmed Modric and Kroos are now speaking with the club about their futures.
Benzema joined Real Madrid from Lyon in 2009. And Modric arrived from Tottenham in 2012. The pair have won five Champions Leagues with Real Madrid among other trophies. Toni Kroos joined Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014. And has won the Champions League on four occasions with the club.
During a press conference on Friday when asked about Kroos and Modric, Carlo said he believed a “solution” would be found. He said, “There are advances, because they are talking. I think that in the end they will look for a solution, there are advances.”
Ancelotti also reportedly has the same impression about Benzema’s future at the club. However, the Italian warned that at some point, Madrid would have to move on. Carlo reportedly said, “I think the three will stay. But we have to think about the day they stop too, because, for the fact they have something unique, something will have to change. We have to look for the club’s future along a different line, not the way (we play) with Kroos and Modric. We have fantastic young players, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, Fede Valverde and Dani Ceballos, who will mark an era at Madrid. But in a different way to Kroos, Modric and Casemiro.”
Madrid will face Villarreal in La Liga on Saturday. After that, they will be hosting Chelsea on Wednesday in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.
